Hello, and thanks for taking the time to visit me.
This site is about my work in multi-channel marketing enablement. It's also about what's happening across a whole range of business and marketing-related issues around data, data management, analysis and operationalisation. Translate this last bit as creating effective acquisition, retention, up- and cross-sell, as well as customer lifecycle management programmes (aka CRM).
That doesn't mean it's about technology per se - I'd like to think we're all agreed that technology should be an enabler of joined-up marketing and supporting underlying business objectives - but rather it's about how we should strive to put the consumer at the heart of creating the necessary infrastructures and processes (both technical and organisational) to ensure marketing and, more importantly, commercial success in business
It's also about business in a wider context, providing what I hope you'll agree are thought-provoking ideas and from some of my favourite sites. This includes TED, HBR, The BBC, The Economist, TechCrunch, YouTube, Mashable and Twitter, as well as esteemed global enterprises.
